Frequently asked questions
How long do you take to arrive?
It depends on where you are and where the van is coming from at that moment. Around Alicante and Valencia and their industrial estates we are usually there in 30 to 60 minutes. Further out in the province it can be a little longer. When you call we give you a real estimate, not a number to get you off the phone.
Do you work at night and on public holidays?
Yes. The service runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Sundays and public holidays. Breakdowns do not keep office hours, and neither does haulage.
What vehicles do you work on?
Trucks and trailers, vans, cars and motorhomes. We specialise in commercial vehicles, which is what sets us apart: air systems, brakes, 24 V electrics and truck tyres.
Do you do towing or recovery?
No. We are a mobile workshop: we come to the vehicle and repair it there, which is precisely what avoids a tow in most cases. If the fault cannot be fixed on the spot, we tell you straight away and help you find a recovery truck, but the towing itself is done by a third party.
How is the service paid for?
Before starting we give you a fixed quote. If something else turns up once we open it, we stop and check with you. We issue a VAT invoice, valid for companies and for deduction, and we accept the usual payment methods.
What if the breakdown cannot be fixed on the spot?
We tell you straight, and as early as possible. In that case we help you coordinate the tow and the workshop best suited to the fault, and hand over the diagnosis we have already made so you are not charged again just to look at it.
Do you work with fleets and companies?
Yes, and it is a good part of what we do. We can agree terms and priority response for your fleet vehicles, and carry out light maintenance at your own depot so you do not have to move trucks to a garage. Call us and we will talk it through.
I have assistance through my insurer. Can I still call you?
You can. Many people call us because insurer assistance tows the vehicle to a garage and leaves it there until the next day, whereas we can often repair it on the spot so you carry on. Check your policy: in some cases the insurer reimburses the cost.
I am on the motorway and cannot say exactly where I am.
That is completely normal. On this site there is a "Send my location" button: you tap it, your phone reads your GPS and sends us the exact point on Google Maps by WhatsApp. If that does not work, tell us the road, the direction you were heading and the last sign or kilometre marker you saw.
